Bimonthly Stud Staff Awards

2013 Stud Staff Award Scheme

In recognition of the contribution made by stud staff to the breeding industry, the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association provides a bi-monthly Stud Staff Award, consisting of a cheque for £100, a certificate, and one year’s membership of the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association. Each year, one Annual winner is selected from the six to be presented with the TBA Annual Stud Staff Award at the Awards Dinner.

The Awards were created by the TBA and are co-ordinated by the Central Regional Representative Chairman, Derek Christopher. Their aim is to reward the staff working ‘behind the scenes’ for all the hard work that is necessary to run a successful breeding operation.

The Award Scheme is open to all – whether your stud is large or small, public or private. It was first introduced in May 2003, and since then we have had numerous well-deserved winners.

Each Award will be presented to winners by a representative of the TBA, and reported in the TBA magazine, ‘Thoroughbred Owner and Breeder incorporating Pacemaker’.

If you have a member of staff who you feel deserves the recognition, please print off and complete the nomination form below, and return it to Stanstead House, together with a written/typed explanation of why you have nominated this person.
